My advice
What the numbers don't say about Khao Lak
Khao Lak is one of the wettest places in Thailand from May to October, with over 400 mm a month. Many resorts close or reduce their services, and the Similan Islands national park is closed from mid-May to mid-October. From November to April it is the opposite: calm sea, the best diving season and long quiet beaches.
