Why we built it

Planning Thailand shouldn’t feel like homework

Planning a Thailand trip usually means juggling dozens of tabs: sponsored posts, conflicting reviews, vague maps. Above all, there’s real confusion about the weather, because the Andaman coast and the Gulf get their monsoons at different times.

We built Thailand Voyager to put the essentials in one place: where to go, when to go, how much to budget and how to get around, laid out clearly and visually.

Every guide answers the questions people actually ask before they travel, with no filler.

Our method

How we choose and present destinations

  1. 1.Places worth the journey

We pick destinations for what they genuinely offer: scenery, culture, food, atmosphere. Not for how they trend on social media.

  2. 2.Weather at the heart of every guide

Each destination lists its best months. That data powers the filterable map and our “When to go” calendar.

  3. 3.Realistic budgets

Our price ranges are ballpark figures for planning. They vary with the season and your travel style, so always check before you book.

  4. 4.Responsible travel

We highlight experiences that respect animals, local communities and marine life, and we explain temple etiquette.

The principles behind our content

Our recommendations follow editorial criteria, set out here in the open.

What we do

  • Say clearly when the best season is, even when it’s short
  • Flag the downsides: monsoon, crowds, rising prices
  • Point to official sources for entry rules
  • Update guides when information changes

What we avoid

  • Promising perfect weather all year round
  • Recommending activities that exploit animals
  • Presenting visa rules as set in stone
  • Burying useful information under walls of text
