Khao Yai National Park closed until further notice after flood damage
Khao Yai, the national park most visitors reach from Bangkok, has extended its closure indefinitely after floodwater swept away the bridge to the Haew Narok waterfall viewpoint. Visits, hikes and overnight stays are suspended, and the gateway town of Pak Chong is flooded too.

The flooding is no longer confined to Bangkok: 174,803 families are affected across 25 provinces and the capital, and eight people have died in ten days. In Rayong, Klaeng district was inundated by the Prasae Reservoir.
