If you can choose a single month for a combined north, Bangkok and beaches trip, February is hard to beat. All four areas are in good shape, the Gulf islands have fully dried out and the Andaman coast is still perfect. Towards the end of the month, the north can start to get hazy as the burning season begins.

What the weather is like in February
Rain is rare almost everywhere and humidity stays relatively low. Coastal highs are typically in the low 30s °C, Bangkok gets a little hotter as the month goes on, and the north is warm by day with mild nights. Sea conditions are generally calm on both sides of the peninsula.
