Dr Frogs Bar & Grill is a steakhouse and bar in Chaweng Noi, Koh Samui, next to the viewpoint over Chaweng Bay. Chef Reuben Kimber, trained under Michelin-starred chef Michael Caines, runs a menu of Angus and Wagyu steaks, seafood and Thai dishes, served every day from 7 am.

Why we would book this table
We would book Dr Frogs for the evening when the group cannot agree. The steak lovers get carefully sourced Angus and Wagyu with a choice of eight sauces, the others get seafood, Thai classics and handcrafted cocktails. What sets it apart on Samui is that the view is not kept for dinner: the same terrace over Chaweng Bay serves a full English or eggs Benedict from 7 am. And the chef, who learned his trade in a Michelin-starred kitchen, still comes out to talk with the tables.
